We started because too many projects we had seen ended the week the agency invoiced its final milestone. Most of how we work follows from trying not to repeat that.
Our story
Four engineers and one complaint
Skyrocket InfoSystem was registered in 2019 by four engineers working out of a shared office on Circular Road. The early clients were regional startups that needed a whole product team rather than a string of individual contractors.
In 2020 the office closed and did not reopen. Working across borders forced us to write things down: architecture decisions in the repository, weekly updates in writing, review that does not depend on two people being awake at once. We gave up the lease the following year and have hired remotely since.
Today there are 48 of us across Singapore, India, Vietnam and Australia. We have delivered more than 120 projects for clients in fourteen countries, and roughly two-thirds of our work each year comes from clients we have worked with before.
We are not the cheapest option in the region and do not try to be. What we sell is a team that will tell you when something is a bad idea, and that is still reachable in month fourteen.

Six things we hold ourselves to
These show up in how we scope, review and invoice, which is the only place values ever really show up.
We stay on after launch
Launch week is when defects surface. Our contracts include a hypercare period, and most clients keep us on a support retainer afterwards.
Bad news travels fast
If an estimate slips or a requirement looks like a mistake, you hear it in the weekly update rather than at the end of the sprint.
Proven tools on the critical path
We keep the interesting technology choices away from payments, authentication and anything that holds customer data.
Written before spoken
Decisions go into an architecture record in the repository. Someone joining in a year should be able to work out why the system looks the way it does.
Handover is part of the job
Documentation, runbooks and a walkthrough with your engineers are scoped into the project, not offered as an extra at the end.
Scope changes are priced before they are built
Anything outside the statement of work gets a written change note and your approval first. Invoices should never be a surprise.

The office closed and stayed closed
Border restrictions forced a distributed setup. We rewrote how we work around written decisions and asynchronous review, and gave up the lease the following year.
- 2021
Platform team formed
Clients kept asking who would operate what we had built. We hired dedicated infrastructure engineers and started taking on production ownership alongside delivery.
- 2022
Mobile practice
React Native and native specialists joined, which took us into healthcare, logistics and field-service work where the phone is the main interface.
- 2024
Data and AI work moves into production
Retrieval systems, document pipelines and evaluation harnesses for clients who had prototypes that were not dependable enough to launch.

Questions we get asked first
Where are you based?
The company is registered in Singapore at 68 Circular Road. We have worked remotely since 2020, with people in Singapore, India, Vietnam and Australia, so we cover working hours from roughly GMT+1 to GMT+10.
How small a project will you take?
Our smallest engagements are around six weeks with two or three people. Below that we usually are not the most sensible option, and we will say so and point you somewhere better.
Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit. Intellectual property transfers under the master services agreement, and the repositories sit in your organisation, not ours.
How quickly can you start?
Two to four weeks for a full team, sooner for individual specialists. Discovery can usually begin within a week of signing.
Do you work outside Asia-Pacific?
Yes. We currently have clients in fourteen countries including the UK, Germany and the United States. Overlapping hours are arranged around your team rather than ours.
What are your rates?
Blended team rates start at US$55 per hour and vary by seniority mix and engagement length. We quote a fixed monthly figure per team rather than billing hourly against a timesheet.
What happens when the project ends?
Four weeks of hypercare, then a documented handover: architecture records, runbooks and a walkthrough with your engineers. If you would rather we kept operating it, a support retainer covers that.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, before any detailed discussion if you prefer. Send yours over or ask for our standard mutual NDA.
